Business Manager
20 Years experience in a range of senior operational and supply chain roles across a number of industries, including, for the last 10 years, electronics for both CEM’s and OEM’s – including BAE Systems. Recently headed up a project to completely re-engineer Remploy Electronics business processes as part of an ongoing drive to improve customer service.

Sales:

Sam Brown: Key Account Manager - North
Over 20 years experience in electronics: design; applications engineering; account management & business development for OEM & EMS providers, including GEC Avionics, Tyco and Molex. A background in working with customers on the realisation of cable assembly; PCBA; and boxbuild programmes across diverse markets.

Tony Harrison:: Key Account Manager - South
Over 15 years experience in Contract Electronics Manufacturing sales and Account Management. Experienced in working with all aspects of electronics requirements from PCB assembly to full turnkey operations within a diverse range of industry sectors, securing and servicing multi £M accounts. Previously with Mars Group, Siemens and SMS Electronics.

Operations, Estimating and Supply Chain:

Adam Broad: Supply Chain Manager
6 years experience in Electronic Contract Manufacturing with Remploy in roles covering Buyer, Materials Control, Production Control and Planning, Production Management and now Group Supply Chain Manager.
 
Malcolm Smith: National Product Estimator
30 years experience in electrical and electronic engineering, in roles covering Production Control and Planning, Project Management, and Estimating for Harmer and Simmons (Telecoms), and BAE Systems (Defence).
 
Helen Lewis: Senior Business Buyer
15 years experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry within Procurement and Supply Chain functions. Previously with Filtronic Comtek, Pace micro Communications and Protec Fire Detection.

Quality Assurance:

Peter Hafner: Quality Manager
Over 25 years experience in Quality and Quality Management Systems in Telecommunications and MOD companies, this followed several years in electronic manufacturing, test and repair.

Engineering:

Tom Dyson: Technical Manager
18 years experience in Electronics Manufacturing, for CEMs and OEMs, in various technical roles. Previously with Genrad and Celestica.
 
Paul Lomax: Manufacturing Engineer (Bolton)
15 years experience in Electronic Contract Manufacturing and Electronic OEMs. Previously with Chase Advanced Technology and AMS Neve.
 
Gary Newberry: Manufacturing Engineer (Barking)
22 years experience in Electronics Manufacturing and Printed Circuit Board Design. Previously with Soundcraft, Motorola and Philips.

Site Management:

Carl Lawton: Bolton Site Manager
28 years experience in electronics manufacturing, covering production and site management. 13 years with Ferranti and 15 years with Remploy. Managed the introduction of Electronic Manufacturing into the Bolton site.
 
Gerald Young: Barking Site Manager
Over 30 years experience in production and site management. 17 years with Hanson Industrial and 15 years with Remploy. Managed various sites for Remploy, taking two sites to the 2nd and 3rd spot in the Remploy ‘Sites of Excellence awards’.
 
David Sharp: Southampton Site Manager
26 years experience with Remploy, covering stock control, management accounting, production and site management. Part of the team who, 10 years ago, managed the Southampton sites transfer to cable and harness assembly. Previous roles with Vosper Thornycroft and Renault UK.
